The s.Gr.W.34 mortar, produced from 1934 to 1945 was in Wermacht service during the war. It was a regular means of fire support of German infantry battalions and allowed to solve combat tasks of ground units successfully. The range of the mortar was adjusted by changing the angle of the barrel and the amount of powder charge on the mine.

The ammunition could include fragmentation, smoke, lighting and bouncing bombs. A well-trained mortar crew could fire up to 25 shots per minute.

For transportation the mortar the total weight of which was about 60 kg, was disassembled into three parts and transported by the combat crew. Total weight of mortar was about 60 kg. The mines were carried in boxes, three pieces in each.

Le mortier s.Gr.W.34, produit de 1934 à 1945 était au service de la Wermacht pendant la guerre. C'était un moyen régulier d'appui-feu des bataillons d'infanterie allemands et permettait de résoudre avec succès les tâches de combat des unités terrestres. La portée du mortier a été ajustée en modifiant l'angle du canon et la quantité de charge de poudre sur la mine.

Les munitions pourraient inclure des bombes à fragmentation, fumigènes, éclairantes et rebondissantes. Une équipe de mortier bien entraînée pouvait tirer jusqu'à 25 coups par minute.

Pour le transport, le mortier dont le poids total était d'environ 60 kg, a été démonté en trois parties et transporté par l'équipage de combat. Le poids total du mortier était d'environ 60 kg. Les mines étaient transportées dans des caisses de trois pièces chacune.
